This rustic wooden vintage "cola" crate with handles is hand-painted with a unique songbird theme. Painted on two sides of the crate are a collage of items, painted in a realistic style, depicting images of songbirds and related items - like a feather and some birdseed.

This one-of-a-kind, hand-painted art piece is as functional as it is pleasing to look at! A useful and attractive storage crate for your home, it comes with a (removable) canvas lining, so you can safely store books and magazines inside. The two largest sides of the box are painted, the others left to their orginal patina and coated with polycrylic to preserve the natural weathered look. One side is printed with "HORNELL, N.Y." The entire exterior and bottom is coated with a durable satin polycrylic finish (even the rusty metal straps, this prevents the rust from rubbing off). To clean, simply dust with moist cloth.
