This is an old tool trunk which I picked up along the roadside and painted for my husband as a gift. When I acquired it, there were layers upon layers of milk paint on the surface that I stripped and then painted with an autumn woods scene. I had to update some of the hardware, although I kept the original cast-iron handles on the sides.
