An old chalkboard slate with a wooden frame serves as a great surface to paint. On this one, I painted a close-up of a bunch of fresh green grapes. The thing I love most about this painting is the wire that the grapes are being held onto by their tendrils.

It is an item that was sold at the gift shop at Heron Hill Winery on Keuka Lake. Custom work always gladly accepted.
