Believe it or not, this item is an old wooden toolbox that I turned end-side up, (or maybe upside-down or whatever) rather than lay flat with the handle sticking up. The handle now serves as a kind of visual "shelf" creating two "cubbies" that the wine bottles fit snuggly into. It is an item that was sold at the gift shop at Heron Hill Winery on Keuka Lake.
