There is often a challenge in painting children's murals. What a child loves at the age of four may be vastly different than what they love at five or six! The design for this mural stemmed from a young boy's love of trains along with the mom's wish for an interesting and unique mural which the child could grow up with. The train was made to appear somewhat realistic without being scary or too juvenille.
