This mural offered a unique challenge - not so much in the design but in the execution. The mural was done in a room which houses an indoor pool. I was hired by the paint contractor, who outsourced the mural painting to me. Working together made the job much more manageable from a logistic standpoint. The contractor had built a false floor over the pool area to hold the scaffolding and ladders, and allow us to also work on the ceiling. (See this page for photos of the ceiling.)

The family has travelled to Mount Kilimanjaro, so when I suggested the tropical rainforest theme the family contributed photos they had taken on their trip to climb the beautiful mountain.
