This is one of the most architectural murals I've done. It is painted in a Victorian home, built circa 1872, on a two-story wall flanking a beautiful curved staircase. Research was done prior to the design of the mural in order to keep with the Victorian decor of the home. The mantle which caps the faux panels is adorned with decorative items, each hand painted and personalized to honor the homeowner's precious family heirlooms and memories.

Messenger Post news reporter Sue Higgins did a great piece about the story behind this mural project. It was featured both in the Wayne County printed version, the Courier Gazette, and online. You can read the online version here.
