I am an artist. Not only is it my profession, but it also describes my vocation in life. I love creativity in all its forms, and I think living an "art-full" life does not mean just painting. I graduated from the University of Dayton, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and a Major in Visual Communication Design with a Concentration in Illustration in 1993. Early in my career, I worked as a freelance illustrator, in the Rochester, NY area, for art studios, design firms and advertising agencies. Over the course of time, my business has evolved, allowing me to connect to a large network of my own clients seeking artwork and murals. My murals can be found all over the Rochester and Finger Lakes area. In addition, I create oil paintings on canvas in my studio located in a beautiful wooded setting in Naples, NY overlooking Canandaigua Lake. My paintings are done in a contemporary realistic style, and depict still life’s and portraits, evoking nostalgia.
About ten years ago, I developed a series of illustrated alphabet cards. The sturdy, full-color 5" X 7" cards are used to spell out words or names. You can pop them into a frame, or hang them on twine as a garland. Each one is my own design, and there are several themes. These are for sale here on my site, and also sold through select retailers.
